  1. Open Palm Desktop 4.0 or later.
  2. Choose Export from the File menu.
  3. Type a name in the Save As field.
  4. Choose "Date Book" from the Module pop-up menu.
  5. Choose "All Date Book Items" from the Items pop-up menu.
  6. Choose "vCal" from the Format pop-up menu.
  7. Click Export.
  8. Open iCal.
  9. Select the calendar from the Calendars list that you want to import the events into.
  10. Choose Import from the File menu.
  11. Click "Import a vCal file" to enable that option.
  12. Click Import.
  13. Locate the vCal file you exported from Palm Desktop, and select it.
  14. Click Import.

The events from the vCal file you created are added to the calendar you selected in the Calendars list. (As a shortcut, you can also drag the vCal file you exported from the Finder into iCal's calendar list.)

Tip:

Importing large calendar files may take a few moments. As iCal imports the file, a spinning disc cursor appears, which means you should wait. Once the file has been imported, the changes back to a pointer, and you can use iCal's other features.
