About iTunes LP

iTunes LP offers a unique and interactive experience with iTunes. It's available for select albums on the iTunes Store.

When you buy an album with iTunes LP, you get the songs from the album, plus special features, such as lyrics, photos, videos, credits, and more. Special features vary by title. Albums on iTunes with iTunes LP have this badge on the item's product page.

Buy iTunes LP

You can buy titles with iTunes LP from the iTunes Store using your Mac or PC, or an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You can also buy iTunes LP on Apple TV (1st generation) with Apple TV Software Update 3.0 or later. Some content types aren't available in some iTunes Store countries.

Play iTunes LP

You can view your iTunes LP using iTunes on an authorized computer or Apple TV (1st generation).

After you buy an album with iTunes LP on a computer, it downloads the album's songs plus the iTunes LP to the Music folder within your iTunes library. Hold the pointer over the cover art and click the Album icon icon on the album to open the main menu and begin the iTunes LP experience.

After you buy an album with iTunes LP on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, the album's songs will download directly to the device. The iTunes LP will download to iTunes on your computer when you choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.

If you bought an iTunes LP with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can transfer the song from your device to your iTunes library on the computer that contains the downloaded iTunes LP. You can sync songs or music videos from an album between your computer and iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV (1st generation). However, you can't sync the iTunes LP from your computer to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or to an Apple TV (1st generation) with software version 2.4 or earlier.
