Xserve (Early 2009), Lion Server: LOM interface may not be available on Ethernet
On an Xserve (Early 2009) running Lion or Lion Server, the LOM interface may not be available on Ethernet.
To resolve this issue, update to OS X Lion 10.7.5 or Lion Server v10.7.5.
